INGREDIENTS
To make these Green Banana Fries you will need:
4 Unripened Green Bananas
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
½ Teaspoon Sea Salt (plus any other herbs and spices we recommend herbs such as - coriander, oregano and thyme)
METHOD
STEP 1
Begin by peeling and slicing into long thin wedges or strings similar to french fries, your green bananas should look like thin fries of even size.
STEP 2
Using a deep Skillet
Heat the oil in a heavy deep skillet over medium-high heat. If you have a deep-fryer, heat the oil to 190 degrees C (375 degrees F). Place the banana fries into the hot oil, and fry until golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from the oil, and drain on paper towels. Pat off the excess oil, and season with salt. Serve immediately.
Using a Airfryer
You can make these banana fries either in air fryer, work in batches, placing fries in an even layer into the basket.
If baking in the oven
Preheat oven to 400F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and spread the bananas strips out in an even layer, being careful not to crowd the baking sheets so that the fries get crispy. Bake for 15 minutes, flipping once 7 minutes in.

They taste better than any fast-food chain French fries and are much more nutritious.
